Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of EliteXSAT (the "Service") at elitexsat.com. EliteXSAT is operated from Yevlakh, Azerbaijan. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

EliteXSAT provides online Digital SAT practice tests, a question bank, scoring, and progress analytics for educational and practice purposes. The Service is provided to help you prepare; we do not guarantee any particular test score or result.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
Accounts are for individual use; do not share your account or let others use it.
Tell us promptly at elitexsat03.12.2024@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
Attempt to access other users' accounts or data, or breach the Service's security.
Copy, scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service's content without our permission — except the openly licensed third-party material listed in section 5, which you may reuse under its own licence.
Disrupt or overload the Service, or use automated means to abuse it.

4. Intellectual property

The practice materials, questions, design, and branding of the Service are owned by EliteXSAT or its licensors and are protected by law. You may use them for your own personal SAT preparation only. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission. This does not apply to the third-party material described in section 5, which stays under its own licence and may be reused on those terms.

5. Third-party content and licences

Parts of the Service are built on openly licensed and public-domain material. We are grateful to the projects that make it available, and we credit them here as their licences require.

Word definitions, pronunciations, and audio — from Wiktionary (retrieved through the Free Dictionary API) and Wikimedia Commons, licensed CC BY-SA 3.0. These portions of the Vocabulary and Reading sections remain under that licence, including any changes we have made to them.
Synonyms and antonyms — derived from Datamuse, which draws on WordNet and Wiktionary data.
Full books in the Reading Book section — public-domain works transcribed by English Wikisource. Every title is by an author who died more than 70 years ago, and every one was written in English, so no translation rights are involved.
Cambridge Dictionary — we link out to it for further reading. For a small number of words we also record the CEFR level Cambridge publishes; no definitions or other Cambridge content are copied or stored.
CEFR word levels — the A1–C2 level shown on vocabulary cards comes from the Oxford 3000/5000, the Octanove Vocabulary Profile C1/C2 (licensed CC BY-SA 4.0), and The CEFR-J Wordlist Version 1.5, compiled by Yukio Tono, Tokyo University of Foreign Studies. Where no published profile covers a word, the level shown is our own estimate — derived from word frequency data (FrequencyWords, MIT) and marked “est.” on the card. An estimate is our opinion, not a CEFR assessment.

All public-domain works stay credited to their original authors. Explanations, example sentences, and study material written by EliteXSAT are our own and are covered by section 4.

6. Not affiliated with College Board

EliteXSAT is an independent study tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the College Board. "SAT" is a registered trademark of the College Board, used here only to describe the exam our materials help you prepare for.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content or answer is completely accurate. Your use of the Service is at your own risk.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, EliteXSAT and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Azerbaijan, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
